Connect House, Wimbledon

Super-size bespoke granite planters were commissioned for the Connect House office development in Wimbledon, now refurbished to Grade A specification.

IOTA’s granite planters are fabricated from cut sections of quarried granite, and their weight, strength and durability make them ideal for commercial landscaping projects. The planters commissioned for Connect House are unusually large - measuring:

• L 2500 x W 1700 x H 700mm
• L 2650 x W 1300 x H 700mm
• L 2100 x W 900 x H 700mm

The planters were made from 30mm thick granite, substantially reinforced; and they are used to green the frontage of the building, interspersed between pre-existing trees. The planters were specified by leading refurbishment contractor BW Interiors, and the installation via HIAB lorry was conducted by IOTA.

Formerly the London Wimbledon Local DVLA Office, Connect House comprises a self contained office building of 21, 349 sq ft. which has been comprehensively refurbished to provide a Grade A specification. The property is at the heart of Wimbledon's business district and immediately adjacent to Wimbledon Station with 23 onsite parking spaces.
