Wimbledon Warriors

The minis part at Wimbleonian Warriors welcomes girls and boys from school reception age up (and earlier on if they enjoy it). We are a totally comprehensive club and seek to interact all youths whatever their abilities tend to be. Our focus is on participation and enjoyable, with equality of possibilities for several players. Our ethos will be foster and nurture all kiddies. We work on RFU/Sport The united kingdomt child protection instructions when you look at the "Welfare of Young People in Rugby Union" and our coaches, directors and group managers tend to be CRB eliminated.

We play every Sunday early morning from September to April. We quite often have friendly accessories against various other neighborhood groups and be a part of bigger tournaments (festivals) concerning several groups. All age groups train at our clubhouse on Coombe Lane.

Up to Under 8s, all children perform label rugby – a non-contact online game where the emphasis is on standard co-ordination and maneuvering (catching and passing). U9's and U10's progress towards creating a 3 "man" scrum and launching tackling abilities, in a safe and controlled means. U11s and U12s progress to another phase which develops the four core skills and makes all of them the 15-a-side game at U13.
