Windmill Cafe Wimbledon
Helpfulness
On the edge of Wimbledon Common, beside the Windmill Museum, is the Windmill Café & Tea place. We visited the beverage area for meal 1 day with VT'er Jenniflower. She had pre-warned myself that she hadn't had very good experiences here in the past, and so I wasn't anticipating much.
It is not the nicest looking destination - it really is looking for a renew i believe. The staff weren't especially friendly or helpful, though they were quite hectic. You need to spot your purchase in the countertop and you'll be offered lots, which will be yelled away once your dinner is prepared. Take your pick of a table inside or out.
Favorite Dish: Food wise, you are able to purchase one of many big breakfasts, snacks, toasties, baguettes, other hot meals and there is in addition an array of cakes and pastries.
I'd a Ham & Cheese toasted sandwich and Jen had a Bacon & Avocado baguette. The meals was ok, but absolutely nothing special. Oh well, I had already been cautioned!
