Wimbledon High School Term Dates

The main point of entry to the Junior School is into Reception, where we confess 44 girls into two classes of 22. Admission is through a variety process – this is outlined the following.

We additionally hold 7+ tests for entry into 12 months 3, whilst the courses increase to 24 women each.

Obtaining Reception

Tests take place in a nursery-style environment, with activities designed to allow the kid to relax and stay themselves.
At 4+ we're looking potential, as opposed to exactly what has already been learnt. The evaluation covers language and social abilities, quantity, real and innovative abilities; girls whom effectively come through the first round in November are welcomed back January.

Obtaining Year 3

Tests for 7+ are held in a formal environment and address three aspects of learning:

English: understanding and imaginative writing
Mathematics: predicated on work familiar to a-year 2 child
Spoken Reasoning: eg: sorting terms, anagrams, logic, picking terms and coded sequences.
